Author's Note: First, I want to say how excited I am to get this hiatus project up and running again! We've got some new faces and some familiar faces in the Season 6.5 group. And I must extend my gratitude and affection to this group of wonderful ladies: hopecrowe, angelamermaid, jylynn, and lovemesomeowen. A very special thanks to my twin, hopecrowe, for beta-reading it for me. And lovemesomeowen for her attention to detail.

Unfortunately, season 6 did not live up to the expectations that most of us had (and it "borrowed" some strangely similar plot lines and characters to a certain Season 5.5). So, we are embarking on this journey with the full intention to instill the right kind of ideas into the universe about Cristina and Owen. We hope that our "episodes" can offer all of you some solace as we wait for the season 7 premiere as well as lift your spirits a bit.

For those of you who are new to this series, let me tell you a little bit about what this series is about. We will release Cristina and Owen centric episodes on Thursdays around 9PM EST as though they are "real" episodes of the show. The season will cover the arc that we think could logically take place, with our very own spin on things. For example, last year, we had Izzie die rather than George. Although we are following the same premise for 5.5, we are not picking up where it left off. Instead, we're going to use what actually happened in the show in season 6. (So, rather than having Sofia Moretti, we've got Teddy.)

To kick things off, here is the first episode of Season 6.5. I sincerely hope you all enjoy it. (And forgive the residual rust. I haven't written a Cristina and Owen fanfic in a long, long time.) Happy reading!
