Sandra Oh joined Chandra Wilson and Justin Chambers in running the Mini Marathon to benefit CureMito on February 17, 2013. Chandra's daughter suffers from Cycling Vomiting Syndrome, which was written into a Grey's Anatomy episode in Season 9.

Just 24 hours after being released a Moray music collection tops the world charts.

It would appear that the world is tuned in to traditional Scottish music – thanks to a recording conceived in a London bar and produced in Speyside.

‘The Speyside Sessions’ came about when Elgin-born Hollywood star Kevin McKidd got chatting over a pint with friend Jamie Reid in a London bar two years ago.

Having planted the seed of the idea the pair gradually enlarged it through their circle of Moray-based friends – resulting in a recording session of Scottish music that McKidd hopes will raise a “significant sum” for Save the Children.

As I'm sure many of you know, Kevin McKidd took part in three Skype sessions this week with fans, as his thank you for donating to his Touch Mudder challenge (he raised over $14,000 for Save the Children!)

I was lucky enough to participate in one of the sessions on October 13th. I posted my recollections here. He shared a few details about the Teddy debacle, and there is a mild spoiler for 8-09. It was a terrific chat, and I hope he'll do this again with his next charity endeavour.

Kevin has been having loads of fun, now that he's on Twitter. Check out @TheRealKMcKidd to see it for yourself. He's interacting with all of us crazy fangirls, and is quite frankly more adorable than ever.

As I posted a few days ago, Kevin is training for the Tough Mudder event, in support of Save the Children: East Africa Drought and Hunger Relief.

Today he gave us an incentive to spread the word and pull out our credit cards, to help him get to $5,000 raised.
